Roommate listings are provided free of charge by RENT Iowa, Inc. If someone contacts you from a listing and attempts or does scam you via wire transferring money, etc., we are not responsible for this. There are some individuals who may attempt to send you a fradulent check, then ask you to return a portion or all of the money to them via wire transfer. This is almost always a scam! Use common sense and protect yourself financially. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is!
Registration
In order to use some of the features offered on this web site, you must complete a registration form. During registration you will be asked for your email address, any other information is strictly optional. Your account will be activated via an email sent to this address and that email will also contain your password. Your email address is used for communication from the site ONLY where you wish it to be and only in the instance that you reply to an ad or post an ad.
Rent Iowa Inc is the sole owner of the information collected on www.rentiowa.com.
Email Listing/Ad
If you choose to use this feature to send an active listing or ad to somebody you know, their email address is NOT kept on record anywhere.
